Award

I received an honest award from Daesha.   So I have to tell ten things people might not know about me and then nominate 7 others.

1. I started a blog because it was the only way I could communicate with some of my LCU friends.

2. I like Universal Studios better than Disneyland.

3. It took me awhile to respond to the award because I didn't want to post really stupid facts.

4. I have started watching the reality show "True Beauty"

5. I quote Boy Meets World randomly.

7. I like working with kids who have special needs

8. I love to check the mail(wish there would be more than junk mail and bills more often)

I know christmas is still over a week away.  We go visit relatives in Texas for christmas, so we celebrated it early.  I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Exercise ?

I know it's something most of us try to avoid, but know we shouldn't.  Anyway I just got a wii fit yesterday.  It makes exercising fun, there are some games on it and various other neat stuff.  I hope everyone is doing well. :)

"My Kids"

This first one is really just a cat that hangs around and we feed from time to time.    I've started to call her smoky, isn't she cute.

Dakota and Pepper on the diving board, getting along which they do most of the time.  But you know how "siblings" can be.  They love being on the diving board and they love the pool.  However, they never jump of the diving board into the pool :)

My kids are doing well over all.  Poor pepper has trouble getting around sometimes because of arthritis (not bad for being 12 yrs old).  I hope you enjoyed these pics, hopefully it won't be so long between post next time.  God Bless :)

It's been awhile

I know it's been awhile since I've posted.  I'm doing well, just working and hanging out with my family.  I promise to post some pics of my "kids"(my dogs) soon.  I hope everyone is doing well :^)

Kisti: A dear friend from college.  She was my orientation leader.  She is always encouraging me.  She has adopted a Korean girl for the school year; Kisti also has a 2 year old daughter.  What an inspiration!

John Cooper:  Another college friend, he almost always had smile on his face.  He is now a proud dad of a baby boy born late last month.

Daesha:  Yet another friend from LCU.  She is one of the first people I remember coming in contact with at LCU.  She helped me a great deal my first year.  

Tara: Another friend from LCU, she is always smiling.  I can hardly recall a time when she didn't have a smile.  She is now a proud mom of a baby boy.

Becke:  A friend from church, she is such a sweetheart.  She has a nice smile and usually has something encouraging to say.

It was hard to pick just 5 people there are so many others I could give this award to.  I hope this brightens your day.  God Bless :)
